The PEI Cancer Treatment Centre is a state of the art medical and oncology facility attached to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown. As well, the services located here offer a satellite centre in neigbouring Summerside. There are three practicing Medical Oncologists and two Radiation Oncologists, which is supported by GP Oncologists and a Nurse Practitioner having ongoing clinical trials. This modern Centre ( PEICTC) at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and the Prince County Hospital Satellite Clinic specializes in care and the general well-being of patients diagnosed with cancer. Recognizing that each experience with cancer is unique, symptoms, treatment and challenges, as a result manages a focused care approach to cancer care.
