Health PEI is has an urgent need for Forensic Psychiatry support on Unit 3 (inpatient care) at the Hillsborough Hospital in Charlottetown, PEI. Health PEI is also seeking immediate permanent or locum coverage for Unit 9 – inpatient psychiatric unit in Prince Edward Island’s largest acute care facility, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, located in Charlottetown, PEI. Health PEI has also introduced new incentives for locum Psychiatrists – including paid accommodations, paid locum license, paid travel time, daily stipends, etc. See document attached for more incentive information. The average full time salaried psychiatrist makes ~$385,000 per year including all billings and base pay.
