The provincial government of New Brunswick and the  New Brunswick Medical Society has made a progressive move by eliminating the antiquated system of requiring a physician to have a billing number. This system of billing essentially eliminated free movement of the market and at the end proved it was not successful. This removal of billing will allow physicians in New Brunswick to go where they wish and the free market and freedom of movement will create an efficiency that will ultimately encourage physicians to practice in this Province.
