This Regional Health Authority is currently recruiting two General Internists. It has 313 beds with a busy ER and a 6-bed ICU providing care to medical and post-surgery patients. And the diagnostic Services include Radiology, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine. Internal Medicine programs include Dialysis, Chemotherapy, Neurology, Clinical Neurophysiology, Cardiology, Respirology, and Rheumatology. There are over 100 physicians and specialists with admitting privileges at the health centre, as well as numerous medical clinics located throughout the city.

Description: The Medicine Program of this health authority invites applications for the position in the field of Internal Medicine. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the provision of clinical care for this health authority at one of the hospitals in the St. John`s area. You will be expected to teach undergraduate medical students and house staff assigned to the hospital. A part time clinical teaching appointment with the University may be available to the successful candidate.
