Radiologist – Saskatchewan

Radiologist required to work in a hospital based service. The hospital serves a catchment population of approximately 85,000. The hospital has recently installed a new 16 slice CT scanner and has full ultrasound services.
Job Qualifications: radiologist will work as a member of the Associated Radiologist group of radiologists.
Must have Canadian Fellowship and be eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan.

Pathologist (anatomical) – Western Manitoba

This Regional Laboratory in located in western Manitoba, Canada situated in the southwest corner of the province providing services to 117 rural facilities in Manitoba as well as the Regional Health Authority, which includes a 330-bed acute care facility.
Permanent Full Time Position for an Anatomical Pathologist
Applications are invited for a permanent full time or locum Anatomical Pathologist position. The pathologist will be one of a team of seven consultants based at the Laboratory within the campus of the Regional Health Authority who are responsible for routine surgical pathology, cytopathology and autopsy coverage.
Qualifications
Must be eligible for registration & licensure with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Manitoba.

Desirable Qualifications:
·Experience with computerized pathology reporting
·Demonstrated experience in handling a wide variety of surgical, cytology and autopsy cases.

Job Prerequisites:
·Fellowship or Eligibility to sit the Royal College examination in either Anatomical or General Pathology.
·Eligibility for licensure to practice as a pathologist in the Province of Manitoba.

Job Description:
·Reporting surgical and cytology cases as well as occasional autopsy coverage.
·The surgical workload includes a large variety of cases including dermatopathology, biopsies and resections of the gastrointestinal tract, urogenital tract including radical prostatectomies, breast, thyroid, lung etc.
·Vacation time is awarded for a total of 20 working days, in addition to statutory holidays and weekends.
·Additional cases may be available for sign out at a piecework rate (or fee for service), above the assigned workload amounts as designated above.

General Surgery – rural Manitoba

This Regional Health Authority is seeking a General Surgeon for a salaried positions at the Northern Consultation Clinic.
The Regional Health Authority affiliated program has been established to enhance provision of specialty services to communities in northern Manitoba. A commitment to service provision for the aboriginal people of Manitoba is required.
Known as the “Hub of the North,” this is a true regional centre with excellent housing, education, recreation and shopping facilities. The city is a thriving city with a population of approximately 15,000. The General Hospital is a modern 74 bed multi-specialty teaching hospital with established University of Manitoba teaching programs in pediatrics, obstetrics/gynecology, family medicine and nursing.
Candidates must have senior specialty qualifications in General Surgery in the country of current practice, and must be eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba. Certification in General Surgery by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada is preferred.

Pediatrician(Neonatology training) – Manitoba

This 313-bed Regional Health Centre serves a catchment area encompassing 4 Health Regions, with a state-of-the-art ‘Single Room Maternity Care’ unit, six neonatal intensive care beds, and six-bed paediatric unit. Diagnostic Services include Radiology, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine. There is a wide range of specialist services.
